Just about ten years ago I decided to take steps to make myself feel more in balance. My initial goal—to be able to perform yoga poses better—transformed as I did. Certain that I would never reach a weight within my healthy BMI, I was nonetheless thrilled at the steps I took and the accomplishments I reached along the way: getting below the size 20s, my 10% goal, slipping under 200 pounds, and finally being able to wear a two-piece swimsuit confidently. When I did make it to my healthy weight range, I supposed I should set a goal. Becoming a lifetime member was a thrill, and I was excited to move and live and even shop more easily.
